Dr. Larry Greenblatt
We are honored to welcome Larry Greenblatt, MD, State Health Director and Chief Medical Officer for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, as a keynote speaker. A distinguished physician, educator, and public health champion, Dr. Greenblatt is widely recognized for his leadership in Medicaid transformation, integrating behavioral health and addiction services into primary care, and advancing innovative solutions for mental health and substance use care. He also launched one of the nation’s first academic initiatives to promote safe opioid prescribing and expand treatment for opioid use disorder, earning national recognition for his work to improve access, safety, and quality of care for patients across North Carolina.

A professional athlete, cancer survivor, and high-performance coach, Vasami is widely recognized for helping individuals and organizations unlock their full potential. Drawing on his experiences as a professional baseball player and a survivor of thyroid cancer, he shares actionable strategies rooted in resilience, mindset, and purpose. Vasami guides audiences to confront fear, shift perspective, and lead with conviction, offering practical tools to overcome professional uncertainty, personal burnout, and unexpected challenges. His empowering approach inspires participants to push beyond limits, dig deeper, and step confidently into the boldest version of themselves.
